Industrial Finance Controller & Team Manager

Adecco Recruitment is hiring for a prestigious multinational client in the industrial sector, based in Tondela. Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Finance Controller & Team Manager with strategic vision and leadership abilities to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Your Challenge:

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and International Corporate Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping financial strategies and leading the local controlling team, becoming a key contributor to the company’s financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Lead, manage, and develop the local controlling team, ensuring high performance and continuous growth;

· Collaborate closely with factory operations (production, maintenance, quality, etc.) to design financial strategies that meet the evolving business needs;

· Implement and review internal control procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance;

· Prepare and present monthly management reports, budgets, and product pricing calculations;

· Align financial strategies with corporate finance teams and the CFO to drive business performance;

·  Act as the key liaison between various stakeholders in continuous improvement and investment projects.

Profile:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field;

·  Proven experience of 5-10 years in Controlling, ideally within the industrial sector (experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus);

·  Strong understanding of factory operations and their financial implications;

·  Proven track record of leading teams and driving organizational change;

·  Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Power BI;

·   Fluency in Portuguese and English.
